Fluid Quip Technologies® (Fluid Quip) provides custom technologies and engineering services to the biofuel and biochemical industries worldwide. Fluid Quip has commercialized multiple technologies to enhance the base corn-to-ethanol dry grind process, create new and novel alternative feed products, and supply the growing need for carbohydrate feedstocks into the biochemical market.

At Honeywell UOP, we are reimagining refining to pursue a lower carbon future today. Leveraging more than a century of innovation, Honeywell UOP enables broad flexibility of feedstock supplies for sustainable aviation fuel and offers multiple routes to market. With technologies including Ecofining™ (utilizing fats, oils and greases), UOP eFining™ (using eMethanol from green hydrogen and recycled CO2), and ethanol to jet technology, we can help you make jet fuel from just about anything.

The D3MAX process employs patented, state-of-the-art technology to convert both five- and six-carbon sugars in wet cake to cellulosic ethanol. Starch, cellulose, xylose and arabinose are all converted to cellulosic ethanol with higher yields, lower energy consumption, and lower capital cost per gallon than other cellulosic ethanol producers. D3MAX also allows you to increase your corn grind by 20% or more, and increase corn oil recovery by 50%.

SAFFiRE is an acronym for Sustainable Aviation Fuel From Renewable Ethanol. Formed in 2022, SAFFiRE Renewables LLC will fi rst pilot test and then commercialize proprietary technology to convert waste biomass like corn stover into renewable ethanol. Once converted to ethanol, alcohol-to-jet technology is utilized to upgrade the renewable ethanol into fully certifi ed, sustainable aviation fuel that can be used in aircraft. SAFFiRE will license technology from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and D3MAX, LLC that, when combined, will enable the production of low-cost, low-carbon renewable ethanol.
